Oct. 11
Criminal mischief: A man in the 700 block of Cranberry Creek Drive found an unwanted realty sign on his front porch.
Counterfeit: An employee at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, discovered a customer presented a counterfeit $20 bill.
Attempted theft: A worker at Four Wheels Vehicles, 5925 South Ave., discovered damage to a car after someone apparently tried to break in.
Theft: After a theft at Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall, three Youngstown girls, two age 14 and one age 17, were charged with the crime.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Pizza Hut, 708 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered five cases of pepperoni missing from a locked freezer.
Theft: Three women, 18, 20 and 21, and a girl, 17, all from Warren, were charged with theft after items were stolen from Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road.
Oct. 12
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into Cigarette Outlet, 6009 South Ave., and stole cigarettes.
Identity thefts: In unrelated cases, two people, one in the 7300 block of West Parkside Drive and the other in the 1700 block of Lealand Avenue, were victims.
Theft: A man left Jillian's Entertainment in the Southern Park Mall and noticed a stereo missing from his car.
Attempted theft: A woman in the 5600 block of Loretta Drive told police an attempt was made to steal her banking information.
Theft: Police arrested a 17-year-old Warren girl on a theft charge after a theft occurred at TJ Maxx & amp; More, 717 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A woman in the 800 block of Truesdale Road reported the theft of Halloween decorations from her yard.
Misuse of a credit card: A man found out his credit card had been stolen and was misused at Wal-Mart.
Drugs: A Youngstown woman, 24, was taken into custody in the 3900 block of Hillman Way on two felony counts of possession of drugs as well as one misdemeanor count each of obstructing official business and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Drugs: Officers arrested a Canterbury Lane man, 44, at his residence on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Burglary/theft: A man in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue told police he was a victim of both crimes.
Misuse of a credit card: A woman discovered her credit card was misused at Payless ShoeSource, 399 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of her cellular phone while she was in the 300 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A man in the 5000 block of South Avenue reported money stolen from his residence.
Theft: A motorist left a Shell station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying for gasoline.
Assault: A man in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court reported his son was assaulted.
Drugs: A 21-year-old Boardman man was arrested near Lemans Drive and Brookwood Road on charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Drugs: Police apprehended a Struthers woman, 18, near Indianola Road and Southern Boulevard and charged her with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrest: Boardman police arrested a 25-year-old Struthers man on a charge of violation of a protection order.
Domestic violence: A Boardman man, 40, was arrested at the Mahoning County Justice Center, Youngstown, on a felony charge of domestic violence.
Domestic violence: An 18-year-old Youngstown man was picked up in the 8500 block of South Avenue. He was wanted on a misdemeanor warrant charging him with domestic violence.

Recovered property: A bicycle stolen in the 20 block of Erskine Avenue was found on a driveway in the 20 block of Sciota Avenue.
Theft/forgery: A woman in the 8100 block of Hitchcock Road reported her purse and checks stolen, and that someone tried unsuccessfully to cash one of the checks.
Attempted identity theft: Two Boardman women told police they received phone calls from someone who tried to get information about their bank accounts and check routing numbers.
Recovered property: A mailbox was found in a driveway in the 80 block of Loch Heath Drive. It was unknown where the box came from.
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 8200 block of Gardenwood Place discovered goal posts in her back yard were tipped.
Assault: A woman reported her son, 15, was assaulted on a school bus near Glenwood and Brookfield avenues. The victim said he was kicked in the legs several times.
Criminal mischief: A woman reported a ceramic figurine was broken on her driveway in the 90 block of Red Grouse Court.
Robbery: A woman, 80, was treated for a large bruise and swelling on the back of her head after she reported someone knocked her over in a parking lot and stole her purse. The crime took place at the Boardman Sparkle Market, 6315 Market St.
Criminal mischief: A woman reported 20 pumpkins were smashed on her driveway in the 8500 block of Hickory Hill Drive.
Breaking and entering: Someone forced the front door at House of China, 135 Boardman-Canfield Road, before taking $177.
Identity theft: A woman in the 7100 block of Amherst Avenue told police a collection agency notified her of an outstanding $535 cellular phone bill but that she had never opened an account with the company.
Theft/forgery: A woman in the 1300 block of St. Albans Drive reported three checks stolen and forged, and that two were cashed for $900.
Aggravated menacing: A man in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue told police a man came to the victim's apartment and threatened him by claiming to have a gun in his vehicle. The man said the victim broke into his residence.
Misuse of a credit card: A woman reported her automated-teller-machine card stolen and that it was fraudulently used at various township locations.
Theft: Someone took a $50 fertility monitor from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 255 Boardman-Canfield Road, before fleeing on a bicycle.
Theft: A 17-year-old New Waterford girl faced a theft charge after being accused of stealing $8 worth of makeup from Wal-Mart.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 4000 block of Stratford Road reported several outdoor lights broken, resulting in $50 worth of damage.
Theft: A customer stole two ratchet sets from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Assault: Police reported two girls assaulted each other at the Southern Park Mall.
Robbery: A Youngstown man, 46, was arrested at the Mahoning County jail on a warrant charging him with robbery. He was accused of stealing candy from Cochran's Sparkle Market, 4121 South Ave., and threatening employees with a knife before fleeing.
Theft: Three Youngstown women, two age 26 and one 21, face theft charges. They were accused of stealing clothing from Value City.
Oct. 15
Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Overhill Drive discovered property was stolen from her car.
Theft: Police arrested a Youngstown woman, 38, and charged her with theft. She was accused of stealing baby clothes and perfume testers from Sears.
Theft: A customer left a Get Go station, 480 Boardman-Canfield Road, and failed to pay for gasoline.
Theft: After a pair of shoes was stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall, police arrested an 18-year-old North Jackson man and charged him with theft.
Theft: A Columbiana girl, 14, faced a theft charge after lighters were stolen from Spencer's Gifts in the Southern Park Mall.
