ROUNDUP Tuesday's games

Senators 4, Canadiens 0
OTTAWA -- Ray Emery won his NHL-record ninth straight game to start his career, stopping 27 shots to lead Ottawa over Montreal. The 23-year-old Emery got his first career shutout, and broke the record of eight straight wins set by Philadelphia's Bob Froese during the 1982-83 season. Emery is 6-0 this season after winning once in 2002-03 season and twice in 2003-04. Dany Heatley extended his point streak to 21 games, and Jason Spezza scored for the fifth straight game and picked up his 30th assist of the season on Daniel Alfredsson's team-leading 20th goal. Martin Havlat and Mike Fisher also scored for Eastern Conference-leading Ottawa, which won its sixth straight to tie its season-high winning streak to begin the season. Havlat suffered a dislocated right shoulder early in the third period when he slammed into the boards after an open ice hit by Montreal's Michael Ryder.
Flyers 4, Islanders 3
UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- Simon Gagne scored his NHL-leading 22nd and 23rd goals -- including the winner with 7:13 left -- and Philadelphia rallied to beat the New York Islanders. Gagne, who also assisted on Joni Pitkanen's goal, took a pass in front from Jon Sim and beat Garth Snow to give Philadelphia its only lead. New York nearly tied it with 0.2 seconds left, but a video review revealed the puck didn't go in. Patrick Sharp scored the Flyers' other goal. Miroslav Satan, Jason Blake and Mark Parrish had goals for the Islanders.
Hurricanes 4, Thrashers 3, OT
ATLANTA -- Frantisek Kaberle scored 32 seconds into overtime to give Carolina its first victory over Atlanta in three meetings this season. Eric Staal had two second-period goals for the Hurricanes, and Kaberle's fourth goal of the season came on a slap shot from the left circle that ricocheted off the right goal post and behind Thrashers goalie Michael Garnett. Marc Savard had a goal and an assist, and Bobby Holik and Greg de Vries also scored for Atlanta.
Devils 3, Bruins 2
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Alexander Mogilny scored the game-winner with 32 seconds remaining, and Brian Gionta extended his goal-scoring streak to five games to lead New Jersey. Jay Pandolfo had the other New Jersey goal and Martin Brodeur made 21 saves as the Devils won their third straight game and sixth in the last eight. Patrice Bergeron and Sergei Samsonsov scored for the Bruins, who lost their third straight and ninth in 10 games.
Predators 2, Flames 0
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tomas Vokoun made 31 saves for his first shutout of the season to help Nashville beat Calgary. Vokoun improved to 13-4-2 this season with his 13th career shutout. Vernon Fiddler scored his first goal of the season with 1:27 left in the first period, and Scott Hartnell completed the scoring with a power-play goal over Miikka Kiprusoff's right shoulder with 15 seconds remaining in the third. It was Nashville's seventh win in nine games, and Calgary lost its second straight after winning 10 of 11.
