Kent State comes into the contest off an 82-70 win over Texas-Pan American in the South Padre Island Invitational. The Flashes were 2-2 in the tournament, also beating Austin Peay 94-67. They lost to Delaware State 65-56 and to Rutgers 55-52.Next up: The Penguins begin a three-game road trip Sunday when they visit Marshall at 2 p.m., then follow that with road games at Eastern Michigan Dec. 7 and St. Bonaventure Dec. 10.

YSU dropped a pair of contests in the Hampton Inn Classic in Bloomington, Ind. last weekend, losing to Indiana, 74-38, and IUPUI 53-50. YSU's only win on the trip came at Ohio University, 69-59. Saint Louis comes into the contest off a 62-55 loss to Miami (Ohio) on Saturday. The Billikens only win was against Yale, 65-50, and they also were defeated by Weber State, 70-60, in their season opener.Next up: YSU will play again at home on Monday when it entertains Oakland (Mich.) University at 7 p.m. at Beeghly Center.
