Extravagant yet elegant
Rodd Coonce, above, and Danielle Harrell, below, owner and employee, respectively, of East Hill Florist in Hubbard, decorate a 25-foot Christmas tree at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown. Harrell said her father, the late Jack Bilicki, was a longtime Butler employee and finished his career as director of security. She said Bilicki, who died in 2000, always took the family to the Butler during the Christmas season. Coonce and Harrell were decking the Butler's halls Tuesday for "An American Holiday," a show and sale by area artists, crafters and artisans set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday to benefit the Butler's children's programs.
