XGERMAN VILLAGE -- Kelly Hurto, a daughter of Kirk and Nikki Hurto, 5726 Haddington Drive, Dublin, and John Scott, a son of William and JoAnn Scott, 4013 Bob-O-Link Drive, Youngstown, exchanged nuptial vows Oct. 22 at St. Mary Church.
The Rev. Mark Hammond officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held afterward at The Vault in Columbus. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and live in Columbus.
The bride's ivory taffeta strapless gown featured a corset back and a caught-up skirt and was enhanced with pearls and a ruched band at the neckline.
Light blue gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Annie Hood, and the bridesmaids, Melissa Brian, the groom's sister; and Jenni Guy, Emily Shepherd, Robin Briguglio, Emmy Hoy and Alison Staloch. Flower girl was the bride's cousin, Caroline Marmitt.
Serving as best men were the groom's brothers, Dr. Joseph Scott and William Scott, and groomsmen were Randy Brian, his brother-in-law; Patrick Hurto, the bride's brother; Lou Alexander; Tim McAtee; Brent Berigan and Nate Winkelfoos. Ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Joey Scott, and ushers were Brooks Vogel and Clint Beasley.
The bride graduated from the University of Miami at Oxford with a bachelor's degree. She is a sales representative with Eli Lilly Co. in Columbus.
Mr. Scott, a senior representative with Merck and Co., Columbus, earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton and a master's from Franklin University, Columbus.
