CANFIELD
Nov. 21
Stolen wallet: A woman told police that her wallet had been taken from her purse at Perkins. She had placed the purse on a shelf on top of the coat rack in the break room. She said the wallet contained her driver's license, a credit card and a debit card, and she had received calls from the fraud department of her credit card company about several transactions that had taken place on the card.
Drug offenses: Police charged a 25-year-old Austintown man with possession of Darvocet, a schedule IV controlled substance, and also charged him with drug abuse, obtaining, possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police found a red and silver pipe with marijuana residue in it. His car was impounded.
Nov. 27
Carrying a concealed weapon: Police charged an 18-year-old Canfield man at Wadsworth Street and West Main Street with carrying a concealed weapon -- swords -- all of which measured more than 10 inches long, which he said he had been selling, and possession of prescription drugs. Police also found a plastic smoke pipe with suspected crack cocaine residue.

Nov. 21
Drug offense: A Youngstown man was charged with trafficking in marijuana, drug abuse-cocaine, permitting drug abuse and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested at Interstate 680 and Meridian Road.
Theft: Gas and sunglasses were stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 2004 Dodge Dakota was stolen from Ron Haus Autogroup, 4375 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: An unknown number of aluminum and spin wheels were taken from B & amp;R Wholesale Tire, 116 S. Meridian Road, 4375 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at Crepe Caf & eacute;, 1412 S. Raccoon Road.
Tampering with vending machines: A Coca-Cola machine door was pried open in the lobby of Westchester Apartments, 4821 Westchester Drive.
Theft: A purse was taken from a cart at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Receiving stolen property: A man was arrested at Burkey and Raccoon roads and charged with driving a motor vehicle with stolen plates.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A license plate was stolen from a vehicle at Wilshire Apartments, 3820 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A ladder was stolen from a vehicle at Wal-Mart.
Nov. 22
Theft from auto: A compact disc player was stolen from an auto parked at a residence in the 700 block of Oberlin Place.
Abandoned vehicle: Four vehicles were abandoned at Carl's Towing, 6704 Mahoning Ave.
Counterfeit money: Counterfeit $20 bills were passed at Get Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Theft: Two men were issued summonses for stealing food at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: A victim said his credit card was stolen, and one of the purchases made on it was diesel fuel bought at Fuel-Mart, 5301 Seventy-Six Drive.
Breaking and entering: Scrap metal was taken from Precision of Ohio, 3850 Hendricks Road.
Theft: Bank checks were taken from a residence in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.
Nov. 24
Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Criminal damaging: A male juvenile who had been drinking punched out the front windshield and rear-view mirror of a vehicle at state Route 46 at Interstate Boulevard.
Receiving stolen property: A man was arrested at the Rebel Truck Stop, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive, on a charge of receiving a stolen auto.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Theft from auto: Pills were taken from a vehicle at a home in the 10 block of South Navarre Avenue.
Nov. 25
Theft: $200 was stolen from the Hampton Inn, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: $150 was stolen from a checking account at Farmers National Bank, 22 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Auto theft: A 1995 silver Dodge Ram 1500 was stolen from the Kmart parking lot.
Theft: A man was charged with shoplifting at Sheetz gas station.
Breaking and entering: Entry was gained at Chef's Express, 4284 New Road, through the rear door, which was pried open. A meat slicer was taken.
Theft: Two men were charged with theft at Wal-Mart.
Nov. 26
Theft: About 12 gallons of gasoline was stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Counterfeit money: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Belleria Pizza, 5626 Mahoning Ave.
Counterfeit money: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at the BP gas station, 5502 Mahoning Ave.
Attempted theft: Someone attempted to enter the storage freezer at the rear of Rulli Brothers, 4331 Kirk Road.
Theft: Fuel was taken from Sheetz gas station.
Breaking and entering: A rear door was kicked in but nothing was reported missing at A-Plus Appraisals, 3342 S. Meridian Road.
Criminal damaging: The garage door was dented at a home in the 3000 block of White Beech Lane.
Burglary: An Alpha Sport four-wheeler, a 2003 Honda TRX 300 four-wheeler and a 2002 Harley-Davidson SMX were taken from a garage that was broken into in the 100 block of North Turner Road.
Nov. 27
Theft: A snowplow was stolen at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Avenue.
Burglary: A burglary was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road, but nothing was missing.
