Main library hosts orientation for grant research

YOUNGSTOWN -- The staff of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County is accepting reservations for an orientation session for grant writing research at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the main library.
The orientation is an introduction to the Grant Center of the Foundation Center of New York City. The main library is a cooperating collection library for the Foundation Center of New York City.
The Grant Center programs are for representatives of nonprofit organizations seeking information on funding sources and fund raising.
The Grant Center collection includes publications such as Foundation Center's Guide to Proposal Writing, Foundation Giving, Getting Funded; and files on local foundations and annual reports. Grant writing is not included in the orientation
