www.wnop.org: The World Network of Prayer is an arm of the United Pentecostal Church International and encourages specific, focused prayers. The denomination has designated a topic for each month (schools in September, nations in October, healing in November) and provides PowerPoint slides, bulletin inserts and notes for leaders for each week. Users can submit prayer requests, which are posted to the site weekly. The site's content is written for evangelical Christians. But there are helpful hints for all denominations in the Creative Ideas section -- especially the advice on family prayers and prayer meetings.
www.christianet.com: This offers a directory of Christian businesses, jobs, pen pals, greeting cards, blogs, news, quizzes and free stuff. In the Christian mall, there is everything from apparel to vacations.
www.bible.org: The first edition of Net Bible is available online and free for download. It is a new translation of ancient Greek, Herbrew and Aramaic texts from a team of more than 25 biblical-language scholars. The result includes some 60,932 translators' notes from more than 700 scholarly works.
