The Pistons and Spurs keep on winning.
And for the first time this season, the Atlanta Hawks got to feel like champions, too.
The Hawks became the last NBA team to win a game, outlasting the Boston Celtics 120-117 on Wednesday night as Al Harrington scored 34 points.
Zaza Pachulia added 19 points and 13 rebounds as the Hawks finally won after losing their first nine games -- the longest winless start in franchise history.
"It's a big relief," Hawks coach Mike Woodson said.
Winning is nothing new for last season's two finalists, who have rarely looked better than they did Wednesday. Detroit and San Antonio beat a pair of up-and-coming teams by a combined 49 points.
The Pistons (9-1) rebounded for their only loss of the season by beating Denver 114-89. The Spurs (10-2) overwhelmed Golden State 113-89.
Atlanta's win wasn't nearly as easy -- not that the Hawks cared after waiting so long.
"I had just had enough [of losing]," Harrington said. "My message was to get it done tonight. I think everybody played with a sense of desperation, and we were able to get it done."
Hot shooting
At Atlanta, the Hawks finally won by shooting 57 percent from the field. Joe Johnson scored 13 points, all in the second half, and made three free throws in the final 30 seconds.
"They deserved to win," Celtics coach Doc Rivers said. "Honestly, I thought they played harder than us."
Detroit returned home after its loss in Dallas and got 19 points from Richard Hamilton in its rout of Denver. Chauncey Billups added 16 points and 11 assists, and the Pistons had 36 assists on their 43 field goals.
Out west
At Oakland, Calif., the Spurs also impressed their opponents -- not to mention themselves -- with their dominant effort. San Antonio shot 55 percent, led by 30 points at halftime, and controlled the boards in its fifth straight victory.
"A good all-around game," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "At both ends of the court, I thought we probably played our finest game of the season so far. It was a bad combination for Golden State because I think they just had a bad night."
Warriors stars Jason Richardson and Baron Davis combined for just 16 points as Golden State seemed a step slow.
"Or two [steps," coach Mike Montgomery said. "They performed at an extremely high level and we obviously did not."
Clippers 103, Raptors 100
At Los Angeles, Corey Maggette scored 30 points, Sam Cassell had 10 of his 26 in the fourth quarter, and Los Angeles won its fourth straight.
The Pacific Division-leading Clippers are off to the best start in the franchise's 36-year history at 9-2 and have matched the team high for most wins in November, set last season (9-6).
Chris Bosh scored 24 points for the Raptors, who have lost 11 of their first 12. Rookie Charlie Villanueva added 18 points.
Suns 100, Rockets 88
At Houston, Shawn Marion and James Jones each scored 19 points and Phoenix made 14 of their 27 3-point attempts.
Derek Anderson scored 23 points for Houston. The Rockets, who have lost five straight, played without Tracy McGrady, who missed his third game in a row and sixth overall with back problems.
Heat 100, Trail Blazers 79
At Miami, Dwyane Wade scored 19 points and tied his personal high with 11 rebounds for his 23rd career double-double.
Darius Miles scored 19 points and Zach Randolph added 16 for Portland, which has lost three of four and fell to 1-2 on its seven-game road trip.
Bobcats 108, Knicks 95
At Charlotte, N.C., Gerald Wallace returned from a wrist injury to score 24 points and grab nine rebounds. Kareem Rush added 22 points and Emeka Okafor had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Bobcats.
Stephon Marbury scored 21 points for the Knicks.
Magic 91, Wizards 83
At Orlando, Fla., Hedo Turkoglu had a season-high 23 points and seven rebounds, helping the Magic hand Washington its fifth straight loss after a 5-1 start.
Wizards leading scorer Gilbert Arenas had 19 points and nine assists, but shot 6-of-19. Antawn Jamison led Washington with 25 points and 16 rebounds.
Hornets 84, Timberwolves 80
At Oklahoma City, Chris Paul scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half to rally New Orleans from a 12-point halftime deficit.
David West added 22 points and 12 rebounds for the Hornets, who beat Minnesota for the first time in eight tries.
Kevin Garnett finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds for Minnesota.
Bucks 108, 76ers 97
At Milwaukee, Allen Iverson scored an NBA season-high 45 points, but Michael Redd had 32 to lead the Bucks.
Iverson, who was 13-of-30 from the floor and 17-of-19 from the line, surpassed the 43 points Kobe Bryant had for the Los Angeles Lakers against Chicago three days ago. Arenas also had 43 for Washington against San Antonio on Nov. 12.
Joe Smith had 18 points and 13 rebounds for Milwaukee.
Kings 114, Nets 105
At Sacramento, Calif., Mike Bibby scored 25 points and Bonzi Wells had 23 points and nine rebounds as the Kings snapped a two-game losing streak.
Both teams played without their leading scorers: Peja Stojakovic for Sacramento and the Nets' Vince Carter are injured.
Marc Jackson had a season-high 21 points and nine rebounds for the Nets, who have lost consecutive games to open a five-game road trip.
