Two brothers held in beating of driver
SALEM -- Two brothers arrested Friday afternoon in connection with the beating of a Pizza Hut driver are being held in Columbiana County Jail in Lisbon awaiting arraignment.
According to Salem police, the men are Joshua M. Courtney, 19, of 5292 Jimtown Road, East Palestine, and Nathaniel Q. Courtney, 18, of 312 W. Fourth St., Apt. 6, Salem.
A third suspect, a 16-year-old Salem boy, is being held in Columbiana County Tobin Detention Center in Lisbon awaiting Juvenile Court action.
The Pizza Hut delivery driver, Kent Brewer, 24, of Beloit, was treated at Salem hospital for facial fractures after he was beaten at 8:49 p.m. Wednesday by three masked men in the 200 block of West 13th Street.
