Delaware Valley wins

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (AP) -- Adam Knoblauch threw for 274 yards and three touchdowns and scored on a 67-yard run in the closing minutes Saturday as Delaware Valley topped Curry 37-22 in the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs.
Curry pulled to 30-22 on Kevin Holleran's third TD pass of the game with 5:06 left.
But on the Colonels' next possession, Holleran threw an incomplete pass on fourth-and-1 to turn the ball over to the Aggies.
Then, on third-and-7, Knoblauch streaked down the sideline on a designed run to put the game away for Delaware Valley (11-0).
The Aggies' balanced offensive attack was too much for Curry (9-3). Delaware Valley piled up 271 yards on the ground and 288 through the air, outgaining Curry 559-320.
Knoblauch did much of his damage from long distance, throwing a 73-yard TD pass to David Carmon and a 40-yarder to Joel Foreman to go along with his long run. The quarterback finished with 97 yards on 10 carries. Carmon caught four passes for 117 yards.
Holleran threw for 197 yards and tossed TD passes to Charles Gibbs, Frank Pacheco and Jim Pascarelli.
