3 pass state bar exam
Three local men have all recently passed the Ohio State Bar Examination and are practicing law. They are Jason James Shuba, Joseph J. Guarino III and Brian Charles Kren.
Atty. Shuba graduated cum laude from Denison University in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, politics and economics. He received his juris doctor degree in May from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, where he excelled in philosophy of law as well as contract, corporate and sports and entertainment law.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Shuba of Canfield.
After graduating, Shuba completed a postgraduate fellowship with his law school and served two months as an admissions consultant traveling the country to represent the school at pre-law events. Atty. Shuba lives in Columbus.
Atty. Guarino is a 1997 graduate of McDonald High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University. He earned his juris doctor degree at University of Toledo College of Law, where he was a merit scholarship recipient.
He is son of Joseph and Sandra Guarino Jr. of McDonald and the grandson of Joseph and Susan Guarino Sr. of Girard, and Eleanora Fuschino Kopstoffer and the late Danny Fuschino.
He is practicing with the Cosme, D'Angelo & amp; Scollozi law firm of Toledo.
Atty. Kren graduated from Youngstown State University summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in political science. He received his juris doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Akron School of Law.
His parents are Larry and Paulette Kren of Girard. Atty. Kren and his wife, Amy, also live in Girard.
