Junior Achievement auction ends Dec. 2

GIRARD -- Bidding on Junior Achievement's Holiday Online Auction, which offers some 300 items, will end Dec. 2.
Among the merchandise, certificates and services donated by area businesses, organizations and individuals from the Mahoning Valley, Akron and Canton, are: a week's stay at a Siesta Key, Fla., condominium; a 49cc pocket bike; weekend getaways; tickets for sporting events such as Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Indians games; concerts and shows; gift baskets; and gift certificates. Items will be available for pickup Dec. 7.
Proceeds from all auction merchandise sold support programs for Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley during the 2005-06 school year.
The auction Web site, which includes pictures of the items, descriptions, merchandise values, starting bids and reserve prices, can be accessed by an Online Holiday Auction link on the local JA Web site, http://warren-youngstown.ja.org.
