Holiday arts and crafts show scheduled

A special preview night is also planned for members and guests.
YOUNGSTOWN -- "An American Holiday at the Butler" is the theme for the 35th annual fine arts and crafts show and sale to be held at the Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave.
More than 100 artists, crafters and artisans will be showing and selling jewelry, furniture, ceramics, paintings, sculpture, wood, photography, decorative arts, metal, glass and fiber art.
Proceeds from the event will benefit children's programs sponsored by the institute.
The show will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 3 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4.
The admission is $3, and children under 12 are admitted free of charge.
Free parking will be available at the M-1 parking deck at Youngstown State University both days, and on Dec. 4, Rick Muccio, caricaturist, will create free portraits, and there will be free appraisal of fine arts, with a limit of two per person).
Preview for members
A Butler members' preview night is scheduled for 7 to 10 p.m. Dec. 2 and will feature a cash bar and buffet. Reservations for the event are required. Tickets, $25 for members and $30 for guests, will be mailed to those calling (330) 743-1107 Ext. 210 by Friday.
In charge
Florence Wang is chairman of the event, and her co-chairmen are Camilla Geordan, C. Gilbert James and John MacIntosh.
