HUBBARD
Nov. 12
Assault: A man reported a woman grabbed him by the face in Patton's IGA Super Center parking lot, 880 W. Liberty St., saying he owed her nephew money.
Nov. 13
Criminal damage: A woman in the 100 block of Moore Street discovered damage to her vehicle.
Stolen property: A Henry Street woman told officers another Henry Street resident had parts to her bicycle.
Nov. 15
Arrest: Police picked up a Hubbard man at the Mahoning County jail after learning he was wanted on a warrant from Hubbard. The charges were resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
Weapon confiscated: An employee at Reed Middle School, 150 Hall Ave., told police he acquired a knife with a 2-inch blade from a pupil.
Attempted theft: A man in the 500 block of West Liberty Street said someone tried to steal items from his car.
Nov. 17
Theft: A man in the 200 block of Myron Street reported the theft of prescription medications.
GIRARD
Nov. 15
Attempted breaking and entering: A man in the 700 block of Trumbull Lot reported someone tried to break into his trailer. Two windows were broken, but it appeared nothing was missing.
Theft: A woman in the 300 block of Taylor Avenue called police after someone entered her garage and removed her son's toolbox. The loss was estimated at $300.
Criminal damage: A man driving in the 600 block of St. Clair Avenue reported a juvenile tossed a rock at his car, damaging a rear passenger-side door.
Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Morris Avenue told police three laptop computers, 30 CDs, two phones and numerous other items were taken from her car's trunk.
Domestic violence: Police took a 12-year-old boy into custody at his East Liberty Street residence on a domestic-violence charge. His mother alleged the boy punched her in the face during a dispute.
Theft: A woman in the 200 block of Forsythe Avenue reported someone entered her vehicle and removed a car stereo.
Nov. 16
Theft: A man in the 300 block of Trumbull Avenue reported a $500, 14-foot aluminum fishing boat stolen.
Breaking and entering: A man remodeling a home in the 300 block of Iowa Avenue noticed someone entered through a small rear service door. Stolen were three doors and two screen doors.
Theft: A Girard woman reported the theft of a purse belonging to an employee at the Wonder Bar, 100 W. Liberty St.
Nov. 17
Theft: A worker at Santisi's IGA Super Center, 419 N. State St., told police she stopped a juvenile after a tube of cookie dough, a bag of candy and a bottle of soda were taken. No charges were brought against the youth.
Nov. 18
Theft: A man in the 200 block of East Liberty Street discovered a $150 check missing and that it was cashed at Bank One.
