SUSAN WALSHJOHN BASSETTI
XMILL VALLEY, Calif. -- Nuptial vows were exchanged during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 15 as Susan Walsh and John Paul Bassetti, both of San Francisco, were united in marriage at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. James Judge, a cousin of the bride.
The bride, a daughter of William and Linda Walsh of Phoenix, and the groom, a son of John and Patrice Bassetti, 470 Sunset Drive, Hubbard, accepted congratulations afterward during a reception at the Pelican Inn, Muir Beach, Calif.
The couple have returned from a wedding trip to South America and live in San Francisco.
The bride wore an ivory silk A-line gown designed with a chapel train.
Serving as the honor attendant was Erin Walsh of Tucson, Ariz., a sister of the bride. She wore a red gown.
Christopher Bassetti of Columbus performed the duties of best man for his brother.
The bride graduated from Randolph-Macon Women's College in Lynchburg, Va., with a bachelor's degree. She is a project coordinator with D.P.R.Construction in San Francisco.
The groom, an energy and environmental design consultant with The Pankow Co. in San Francisco, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in geology. He earned a master's degree in sustainable development at Macquaire University in Sydney, Australia.
