DOWNTOWN ENTERTAINMENT Lil Jon, Ying Yang Twins to perform at Youngstown Convocation Center



The first hip-hop performance will be Nov. 23.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown Convocation Center will get its first hip-hop show Nov. 23 when Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz along with Ying Yang Twins, Franchise Boys and Jim Jones perform. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz have enjoyed a lot of success recently, collaborating with Ying Yang Twins and others for several hits.
They are most famous for the hit "Yeah" with Usher, featuring Ludacris. "Yeah" was 2004's Hot 100 Single of the Year, Mainstream Top 40 Single of the Year and Song of the Year for the 2004 Radio Music Awards.
Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz also won 2004's Independent Artists of the Year award. Their latest album, "Crunk Juice," is in stores now.
The Ying Yang Twins were nominated for two Vibe Awards in 2005, including Best Group and Club Banger for "Wait [Whisper Song]."
