XThe parents of Nicole L. Kuhley, 935 E. Philadelphia Ave., Youngstown, and Jarid W. Lester, 118 Idaho Road, Austintown, are announcing the couple's engagement.
Kathleen E. Kuhley, of the Youngstown address, is the mother of the bride-elect.
Sherrie E. Kyzer of Berlin Center and William R. Lester, also of Berlin Center, are the parents of the prospective groom.
St. Matthias Church in Youngstown will be the setting for the 2:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 8. An evening reception will be held at the Italian-American Veterans Centre in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for both.
Miss Kuhley graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor's degrees in psychology and professional writing and editing. She is a billing specialist for Comp One Inc. in Boardman.
Mr. Lester attended YSU and owns Aim Roofing and Construction in Austintown.
