XWARREN -- Lucia S. Flevares, 8569 Sleepy Hollow Drive, is announcing the engagement and coming marriage of her daughter, Lucia Marie Flevares, 1922 Blackthorn Drive, Champaign, Ill., and Edward A. Kieser, 1905 N. Cunningham Ave., Urbana, Ill., son of Nora D. Kieser, 7346 Shadowbrook Drive, Kirtland, and the late Alfred F. Kieser Jr.
The bride-elect is also a daughter of the late Dr. Constantine W. Flevares.
Nuptial vows will be exchanged during a 2 p.m. ceremony July 30 at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown, and an evening reception will be held at St. Demetrios Community Center. Invitations will be issued for both.
Miss Flevares received a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago. She also received a master's and doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she is a visiting assistant professor.
Mr. Kieser graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's and master's degree in meteorology. He is a meteorologist for WILL-AM-FM-TV in Urbana.
