McDonald offering free swim lessons

McDONALD -- The McDonald swim program will offer swimming sessions at the McDonald High School Pool this summer for two age groups: children ages 3 to sixth-graders and adults ages 18 and over.
The program for children in the McDonald School District will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 14 to Aug. 4.
Lessons are free.
Swim lesson times will be based on a pool evaluation for participants at 10 a.m. June 14. All interested participants should be at the pool for an evaluation to see how lesson schedules will be structured.
Waiver and sign-up forms will be passed out at the schools, or can be obtained at the municipal building.
The Warm Water Pool is for McDonald adults and will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.
The cost of classes is $3.
The structured warm water pool activities is for those with arthritis, muscular aches and wanting low impact exercises.
Sign-up forms and waiver forms must be filled out before the start date.
Forms can be obtained at the municipal building and can be returned to village hall or mailed to: Pool Program, 451 Ohio Ave., McDonald, 44437.
