CANFIELD
March 20
Robbery: A 44-year-old North Jackson man stole two steaks worth $22.80 from Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St., and assaulted the loss prevention officer when the steaks fell out of his coat. Police later arrested him at his home.
March 21
Menacing: A 19-year-old Campbell Memorial student at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, was charged with one count of menacing after assaulting and harassing another male student at school and disobeying administrative personnel.
March 23
Trafficking: A juvenile was picked up on an aggravated drug trafficking charge at Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive.
March 25
Marijuana, drug paraphernalia: A 21-year-old North Jackson man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse, and obtaining and possessing drugs on Laurel Hills Lane. Police found drug equipment, a glass bowl with suspected marijuana residue, rolling papers and a plastic baggy with 1.5 grams of suspected marijuana.
March 26
Drugs: A 19-year-old North Jackson man was arrested on a drug possession charge after police found aluminum foil with a smoke pipe with suspected marijuana residue, a baggie with suspected marijuana seeds and residue on him after he was stopped for a traffic violation on W. Main Street.
March 27
Drug paraphernalia: A silver scale and silver foil pipes with suspected marijuana residue were found in the vehicle of a Canfield male juvenile along with a black tire iron found in the driver's door pocket. Police also found a small baggie with suspected marijuana residue. The youth was charged with being a delinquent child, carrying a concealed weapon and drug paraphernalia.
Carrying a concealed weapon: A 34-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at West Main Street and the interstate bypass for possessing a black and brown lead pipe. He had an active warrant on him for possession of drugs from South Carolina. He told police even though his license was suspended he was just out for a drive with his wife and three children, who were given a police escort home.

March 21
Drug offense: Two subjects were arrested at North Meridian and Crum roads on drug charges -- an Austintown man for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and a Youngstown woman for possession of marijuana, obstructing justice and possession of drug paraphernalia
Theft from auto: A window was broken in a vehicle and a portable compact disc player was stolen in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: A window was broken and a television, X-Box game and DVD player were stolen from the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.
Receiving stolen property: A man was arrested on the charge at New Road at Meridian Road.
Theft: Three vehicles left for service at Denny's Garage, 110 Niles-Canfield Road were stolen.
Burglary: Thieves gained entry through an unlocked window and money was taken in the 60 block of North Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: A garage door was damaged in the 3000 block of North Meridian Road.
March 22
Theft: A Fiesta gas grille was stolen from a residence in the 3000 block of Monaca Ave.
Theft: Welding equipment was stolen from Main Steel, 3800 Hendricks Road.
Burglary: An unlocked door allowed access for thieves, who took a play station from a residence in the 1000 block of Fountain Square Apartments.
Burglary: A back door window was broken in the 1000 block of Moorefield Avenue.
March 23
Theft from auto: An Ohio registration was stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A boy was arrested on a theft charge at the IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: $737 in cash was stolen from an auto at Bakemark, 120 Victoria Road.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
March 24
Aggravated menacing: An 18-year-old suspect made threats on the Internet in the 1000 block of Woodgate Street.
Theft from auto: A dealer plate was stolen from Ron Haus Motors, 4375 Mahoning Ave.
Lost or stolen: A cell phone was reported missing at Wal-Mart.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen from Frank Ohl Middle School, 255 Idaho Road.
March 25
Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse of marijuana in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.
Theft: $24 in gasoline was stolen from Shell gas station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
March 26
Theft: Credit cards were taken from a purse in the 100 block of South Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: A 1972 Enduro motorcycle with no plates was stolen from the 3000 block of Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: Lawn damage was reported in the 100 block of Rosemont Ave.
March 27
Theft: A gasoline drive-off was reported at the BP gas station, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft from auto: A compact disc player was taken from a vehicle in a carport in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft from auto: Multiple items were taken from a vehicle at Budapest Inn, 3780 Mahoning Ave.
March 27
Breaking and entering: Two men were arrested at Denny's Garage, 110 N. Niles-Canfield Road, on a charge of breaking and entering.
