XSTRUTHERS --Announcement is being made by Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Terry, 295 Woodbine Ave., of the engagement of their son, Lt. Ronald Kenneth Terry, 6204 Rose Hill Drive, Alexandria, Va., to Beth Marie Peters, 1051 S. Zeno Way, Aurora, Colo.
The prospective groom is a contract specialist with the Navy in Washington, D.C. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics at Washington State University in Puttman and a master's in business administration at Southern New Hampshire University, where he is pursuing a masters in organizational leadership.
The future bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pittman, 706 E. Park, Hastings, Neb., and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peters, 1119 Elm Ave., St. Paul, Neb. She is a third-grade teacher with Cherry Creek School District in Aurora after earning her bachelor's degree in psychology and education at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and a master's in education at the University of Phoenix, Northglenn, Colo.
The couple are planning a 4 p.m. ceremony May 28 at St. John AME Church in Struthers and a reception afterward at the Stadium Club at Youngstown State University. Invitations will be issued for both.
