CLEVELAND -- A federal grand jury has indicted six Trumbull County residents, charging them with conspiracy to possess and distribute oxycodone (brand name OxyContin).
Gregory A. White, U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, identified those indicted as:
UJohn DiCenso, 40, Stahl Avenue, Cortland.
UMichael Stemock, 51, Dodge Drive, NW, Warren.
U*Fred Michael Rini, 37, Warren.
UCharles J. Tucker, 50, Cadwallder Sonk Road, Bazetta.
UMary Louise Moore, 48, Roosevelt Drive, Liberty.
UErika E. Carper, 29, Warren.
DiCenso, Stemock and Rini are also charged with a conspiracy to commit health care fraud against the federal Medicaid program.
The indictment alleges that DiCenso, using a personal computer, created false prescriptions for OxyContin, which he filled and enlisted the other defendants to fill at Warren area pharmacies in exchange for cash or pills.
The indictment charges that DiCenso, Stemock and Rini used Medicaid benefits to pay for the illegally obtained drugs.
