CANFIELD -- The National Association of Subacute and Post Acute Care will hold a seminar on providing long term care at Blue Sky Management, 510 W. Main St., Wednesday through Friday.
The event is for health care professionals.
NASPAC, headquartered in Washington, D.C, sponsors RNs, LPNs and Nursing Home Administrator seminars in 16 cities throughout the Nation each year. NASPAC is a nonprofit association.

Hypnobirthing class
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- The Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon will hold a hypnobirthing class March 23 and 30 and April 6 and 13. Hypnobirthing teaches expectant mothers methods of hypnosis and relaxation to use during childbirth to minimize pain and discomfort.

Stroke screening
YOUNGSTOWN -- Life Line Screening will be at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Wednesday, with appointments beginning at 9 a.m.
The screenings use ultrasound to scan for potential problems that could lead to a stroke.
Vascular screening costs $109; add bone density screening for another $20.

Nutrition program
WARREN -- A cooking and nutrition program for blacks will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Alliance Community Outreach Program Center, 2051 Niles Road.
The program is sponsored by the American Cancer Society, ACOP and Humility of Mary Health Partners.
Jason Roller of Chef's House Catering and dietician Donna Kopas will offer recipes and advice for healthful eating.

Free health program
YOUNGSTOWN -- A women's wellness seminar will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the Azalea Room on the St. Elizabeth's Boardman Campus. The room is on the second floor of the emergency room/diagnostic building.
Topics will include toxin awareness, animal by-products and animal testing, so people can achieve a natural balance with the use of toxic-free products, aromatherapy, balancing dreams and nutrition.
