SCOPE Howland Senior Center, 8273 High St. N.E., Warren, will offer computer classes in beginning, intermediate, digital camera and desktop publishing. The three-day class is held from 9 to 10 a.m. each week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thusdays for $5 for members (SCOPE membership is $12). Each three-day class is limited to four and offers hands-on, individual attention. Classes break for summer and resume in September. Call (330) 609-7806 to register.
Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has scheduled the following: Monday, income tax appointments at 9 a.m. and bridge and follies at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, New Middletown Satellite, oil painting, computer class and exercises at 10 a.m., blood pressure screening and computer class at noon, chorus at 1 p.m. and digital class at 2; Wednesday, Lake Milton Satellite and watercolor class at 10 a.m., tai chi at noon, blood pressure screening at 12:30 p.m., and yoga and 500 cards at 1; Thursday, Watch Our Weight Support Group and woodcarvers at 9 a.m., St. Patrick's Day celebration from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Hugs & amp; Stitches Group at 10, blood pressure screenings at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., square dancing at 1 p.m. and line dancing at 3; and Friday, income tax appointments at 9 a.m., exercises at 10 and crafts at 12:30 p.m. The center has applications for the SBC Lifeline Ohio telephone discount program for $12.38 a month to eligible applicants.
