NBA ROUNDUP Saturday's games

Heat 90, Nets 65
MIAMI -- Eddie Jones scored 14 of his 18 points in a decisive third quarter to help Miami win its eighth straight game and 12th in a row at home. Shaquille O'Neal had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Heat, who allowed their lowest point total of the season. Damon Jones added 15 points and Dwyane Wade 13. Vince Carter scored 20 for the Nets, who managed just 26 points in the second half and lost for the fourth time in five games. They shot 29.7 percent overall, but New Jersey's scoring total was not a season low. The Nets beat Portland 64-60 on Nov. 9.
Lakers 117, Bobcats 116
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Kobe Bryant hit a long jumper with 0.9 seconds left to cap a 21-point fourth quarter in Los Angeles' victory over Charlotte. Bryant finished with 32 points and nine assists for the Lakers, who trailed much of the way against the expansion Bobcats. Chucky Atkins added 26 points to give Los Angeles consecutive road wins for the first time this season. The Lakers beat Dallas on Thursday night in the first game of a six-game trip. Brevin Knight, back in the Charlotte lineup after missing three games with a sprained ankle, had 21 points and 17 assists, and rookie Emeka Okafor had a career-high 30 points and 11 rebounds. After struggling to 11 points on 4-for-12 shooting through three periods, Bryant hit six straight shots -- including three 3-pointers -- to help the Lakers cut a 10-point lead to 110-108 on a jumper over Keith Bogans with 2:45 left in the game. Then, after closing to 116-115 on a tip-in by Jumaine Jones with 31 seconds left, the Lakers got the ball back with the chance to win it. Bryant did the rest, taking the ball near midcourt and dribbling toward the top of the key. He pump-faked, sending Bogans into the air, and rose above the Bobcats' guard to launch the shot. The ball swished through the net, stunning the crowd. The Bobcats had one final chance, but Knight couldn't get a final shot off before the horn.
Warriors 105, Hawks 92
ATLANTA -- Mike Dunleavy and Jason Richardson each scored 22 points and Golden State set a team record with 18 3-pointers. Dunleavy was 6-for-7 from 3-point range, and Baron Davis went 6-for-10 and scored 20 points. The Warriors became the fifth team to fall one 3-pointer shy of the NBA record set by Atlanta in a 107-93 victory in Dallas on Dec. 17, 1996. Atlanta, which entered the game with the league's worst percentage on 3s, was 1-for-8 beyond the arc. Josh Childress led the Hawks with 18 points, and Al Harrington had 17. On Friday night, Atlanta ended a 13-game losing streak and 23-game road losing streak with an overtime victory in Toronto. Golden State, 1-for-8 from 3-point range in the fourth, broke the team record of 17 set against Sacramento on Feb. 9, 1989.
