Boston Cell Phone Tour: "Boston: City of Rebels and Dreamers," in the Talking Street series by Candide Media Works Inc., allows cell phone users to learn about some of the city's most hallowed historic sites at their own pace, and in whichever order they choose. The tour has 17 stops, including the Public Garden, the Robert Gould Shaw Memorial, the site of the Boston Massacre, the North End and Fenway Park.
Location: The tour officially starts at the Public Garden, but can be started anywhere.
Cost: $5.95 per tour, which allows the buyer a week to hear each stop once, and second visits to 10 stops. Regular charges by individual cell phone carriers such as roaming charges may also apply.
