50 Cent has a game
LONG ISLAND NEWSDAY
Fresh on the heels of 50 Cent vs. The Game comes news of 50 Cent: The Game.
Of course, that probably would be too confusing of a title for the rapper's upcoming video game, so he has settled on the title 50 Cent: Bulletproof, an apparent reference to his being shot nine times during a botched robbery attempt in 2000. In the game, in which 50 Cent lends his voice and likeness, players will guide the rapper through a "web of corruption, double-crosses and shady deals that lead him on a bloody path through New York's drug underworld," according to a news release. Born Curtis Jackson in Queens, the rapper is an admitted former crack dealer.
No release date was given for the game, nor was there word on whether 50 Cent's protege, The Game, would be cast as an ally or enemy after a rivalry between the two heated up two weeks ago, resulting in the shooting of a member of The Game's entourage. Also unknown is whether 50 Cent's new rival plans to release The Game: The Game.
