KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Sophia Young scored 18 points and No. 6 Baylor moved into the semifinals of the Big 12 tournament. Chameka Scott hit four 3-pointers and scored 16 points for the top-seeded Bears (25-3), who will play No. 14 Texas Tech on Thursday. Latoya Wyatt added 11 points and Steffanie Blackmon had 10. Christelle N'Garsanet led Missouri (11-18) with 15 points and 10 rebounds, but the Tigers turned the ball over 21 times and shot just 35 percent from the field. They were also 12-for-22 at the free-throw line. Baylor used two 9-0 runs in the first 7 minutes to quickly build a 22-8 lead. Young was the catalyst for both, scoring six of her 14 first-half points.
No. 11 Texas 65, Oklahoma 59
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Tiffany Jackson scored 25 points, including nine down the stretch, to lead No. 11 Texas over Oklahoma in the Big 12 tournament quarterfinals. The Longhorns (21-7) will play either Kansas State or Nebraska in Thursday's semifinal. Trailing 44-42 with 14:07 left, Texas put together a 9-2 run to take a 51-46 lead. Oklahoma cut it to 52-50 on Britney Brown's 3-pointer with 5 minutes to go, but Jackson converted a 3-point play in the post and a spinning layup a minute later to push the lead to 59-52. Jackson's long jumper with 1:24 left gave the second-seeded Longhorns a 61-54 lead. Leah Rush had 19 points to lead Oklahoma (17-12), which will await word from the NCAA selection committee regarding a tournament spot on Sunday.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Alesha Robertson made two free throws with 2.7 seconds left and Iowa State's last-second shot rimmed out in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 tournament. Robertson and Chelsey Dabbs each had 13 points to lead the Lady Raiders (22-6), who face No. 6 Baylor in Thursday's semifinal. Erin Grant and Cisti Greenwalt had 12 points apiece. Tied at 59 with less than 5 seconds, Robertson was immediately fouled after an inbounds pass and sank both free throws. Anne O'Neil, who had 22 points to lead Iowa State (23-6), caught a fullcourt inbounds pass and missed a 15-footer at the buzzer.
No. 17 Kansas State 71, Nebraska 45
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kendra Wecker scored 19 points and became the Big 12's career scoring leader, lifting No. 17 Kansas State over Nebraska in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 tournament. Wecker broke former teammate Nicole Ohlde's record on a 12-foot jump shot that gave Kansas State a 47-25 lead with 14:07 to go in the game. She now has 2,248 career points. The third-seeded Wildcats will play No. 2 seed Texas in Thursday's semifinal round. Baylor faces Texas Tech in the other semifinal game. Twiggy McIntyre added 10 points for the Wildcats, who shot 52 percent from the field.
