XAUSTINTOWN -- Vicki L. Giannini and Christopher M. Barton, both of 4620 Rhode Island Drive, are announcing their engagement and coming marriage.
The daughter of Shirley and Rodney Hoover, 144 Erskine Ave., Boardman, and Nick Thiry, 80 N. Raccoon Road, and the son of Kathy and Dave Kihm, 982 Draus St., Girard, will exchange vows during a 1 p.m. ceremony Aug. 6 at Canfield United Methodist Church. An evening reception will be held at The Elm Tree in Struthers. Invitations will be issued for both.
A human-resource administrator for R.A.S. Manufacturing Co. in Youngstown, Ms. Giannini earned an associate degree in applied business at Trumbull Business College in Warren.
Mr. Barton is a gas-well tender for North Coast Energy.
