Ohio Magic -- finished second in the Akron Racers Foundation's 2005 Slam Series at Firestone Stadium in Akron. In the 16-team tournament, Brittany Danilov pitched a perfect game against the Lady Invasion. Kelsy Ford earned the pitching win against Akron Sapphires. Lady Lasers (Red) from Columbus took first place after defeating Ohio Magic. Laser pitcher Heather Widner gave up three hits to Samantha Peters, Jena Ervin and Katie Hawkins. Ford pitched for the Magic, giving up nine hits.

Lakeview Insurance Center 18, Crestview Rebels 2 -- Dave Somerville had three hits, a stolen base and two RBIs. Justin Anthony, Brian Calvert and Steve Miller had three RBIs apiece. For Crestview, Andrew Kestner had two hits and a stolen base. Mike Wylie, Josh Orr and Seth Dumolin singled.Columbiana DeChellis Dental 14, Niles Dunnigan Photography 8 -- Eugene Leson had three hits and scored three times. Steven Bensinger, Vince Kurtz and Randy Johnston had two hits apiece. For Niles, Matt Clinis homered.Canfield Mill Creek Homes 14, East Liverpool Red Sox 4 -- John Thomas' three hits drove in four runs. Tarik Awad had two hits and Bob Herberger was the winning pitcher. For East Liverpool, Nick Turklay and Jordan March had two hits apiece.Columbiana DeChellis Dental 14, East Liverpool Red Sox 2 -- Pat Sposato and Tom DeChellis homered. DeChellis scored four times while Steve Bensinger, David Vitko and Eugene Leson each scored three runs. For East Liverpool, Joe Ammon singled and scored.
