Andy Chroback's complete game helps guide Wharmby past Mink

STRUTHERS -- Andy Chrobak (3-1) pitched a complete game as he scattered six hits and struck out six to lead Wharmby Sports over Mink Financial 8-3 Thursday in a Class B League game at Cene park.
The game was decided when Josh Fyfe's sacrifice fly drove in the go ahead run in the fifth inning.
Wharmby added three runs in the sixth to seal the win.
Fyfe hit a pair of singles and Lou Kopachy added two singles and drove in three runs for Wharmby (9-4). J.C. McCoy hit a pair of singles.
Ryan Myers hit a double and single for Mink (7-6).
Koch/Line Drive 7, Roth Brothers 1
Nick Turco hit an inside-the-park home run and Joe Marino hit a pair of triples for Koch/Line Drive (4-9).
Greg Sansone (2-2) hit a double and worked four scoreless innings to pick up the win.
Cory Sternihal hit a pair of singles while losing pitcher Trent White (0-3) hit a double for Roth Brothers (2-11).
Class AA
YOUNGSTOWN -- Leading by a run, Bud's/DiCioccio put an end to the contest in the bottom of the fifth inning as it scored nine runs in a 11-1 victory over Tri-County at Pemberton-Donnell Park.
Thirteen batters went to the plate for Bud's in the fifth with Jared Bogan and Dom Yazbek triggering the rally, each hitting a two-run double. Frank Santore went 2-for-4 and hit a two-run single.
Paul Yates scattered four hits with four strikeouts to pick up the win for Buds (12-1).
