XThe engagement of Jennifer Rakoci and Travis Romine, 1629 Tanglewood Drive, Liberty, is being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Michael Rakoci, 414 Pulaski Road, Pulaski, Pa., and Dolores and Larry Shaffer, 20 Farkas Road, West Middlesex, Pa.
The prospective groom is a son of Ronald and Pam Romine, 1096 Mechanicsville Road, Geneva, and Janice and Marshall McConnell, 6609 Kinsman Nickerson Road, Kinsman.
Invitations will be issued for a 2 p.m. ceremony July 30 at St. John Church in Sharon, Pa. An open picnic reception will be held at 5 p.m. at the Rakoci farm in West Middlesex.
Miss Rakoci earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a registered nurse at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown.
Mr. Romine is employed as a chef at Blue Wolf in Boardman. He is attending the Winner Institute of Culinary Arts in Transfer, Pa.
