AMANDA SOSNOSKYADAM TREHARNE
XYOUNGSTOWN-- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 2 p.m. ceremony June 25 as Amanda Sosnosky and Adam Treharne, both of Boardman, were married during a ceremony solemnized by the Rev. John Keehner at St. Columba Cathedral.
The daughter of William and Gail Sosnosky of North Jackson and the son of Raymond and Georgia Treharne of Struthers were honored afterward at a reception at the Italian-American Veterans Centre.
The couple, who live in Boardman, honeymooned at the Riviera Maya in Mexico.
Fashioned of white organza, the bride's A-line, halter-style gown was adorned with crystals and pearls and featured a cathedral train.
Black and white gowns were worn by Mindy Katcher, the groom's sister, as honor attendant, and Mia Guiliani and Courtney McLane, the bridesmaids. Flower girls were Samantha Vinopal, the couple's goddaughter; Breanna Laverie, the bride's goddaughter; and Kaitlyn Katcher, the groom's niece.
The duties of best man were performed by Casey Gordon, and groomsmen were Brian Johannige and Bill Sosnosky, the bride's brother.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, the bride is a first-grade teacher at Legacy Academy.
The groom, an officer with Springfield Township and Beaver Township police departments, graduated as a peace officer from Western Reserve Police Academy in Boardman.
