Ikebana exhibit of five Japanese styles held at Davis Center in Fellows gardens

YOUNGSTOWN -- Ikebana Youngstown held its yearly exhibit of flower arranging in the Japanese manner on June 4 and 5 at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens.
Flower arrangements featured five styles of the Japanese arrangements Ikenobo, Chiko, Ohara, Sogetsu and Ickiyo. They were made by members Sheila Bowman, Sue Black, Virginia Goldston, Beverly Italiano, Esther Bertch, Evelyn Resek, Dianna Mullins, Bev Patrick, Jean Davidson, Nancy Kovach, Dorothy Haddox, Elsie DeHoff and Pearl Marlos.
Ikebana Youngstown is a member of the Garden Forum of the Greater Youngstown Area. Members meet on the first Tuesday of most months at the Davis Center.
