XPOLAND -- Living in Portland, Ore., after honeymooning on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, are John James Roszczyk and his bride, the former Heather Dawn Krygowski, who were married June 11 at Holy Family Church.
Monsignor William Connell officiated at the 1:30 p.m. wedding, and the couple were honored during an evening reception at the Stambaugh Auditorium Ballroom.
Parents of the bride are Frank and Peg Krygowski, 29 Ohio Ave., and the groom is a son of Steve and Janice Roszczyk, 10610 Nobhill Lane, Concord.
The bride's two-piece, strapless gown of ivory iridescent ribbon organza extended to a cathedral train.
Black gowns were worn by the bride's aunt, Nancy Krygowski, as honor attendant and the bridesmaids, Shawna Leonard, Marianne Lloyd, Gina Melnik and Adrinne Riel. Colleen Welday was flower girl.
The grandfather of the groom, John Roszczyk, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Pravir Chandra, David Ross, Randy Force and Scott Stetson.
The bride attended the Youngstown State University Dana School of Music and graduated with a bachelor's degree in vocal music from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. She is category coordinator at Nike Headquarters, Beaverton, Ore.
The groom holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University in Athens and a juris doctorate from Akron University. He is an attorney with the law office of Fred Millard in Portland.
