ATHENS -- Terren Harbut hit two foul shots with 9 seconds left to help seal the Bobcats' 72-69 win over Bowling Green on Saturday.
Ohio (10-7, 5-4 Mid-American Conference), which improved to 8-0 at home this season, trailed 66-61 with 4:44 left but scored 11 of the final 14 points.
Jeff Halbert's two foul shots with 1:24 left gave the Bobcats a 68-66 lead. After Bowling Green's Cory Eyink missed a jumper, Halbert rebounded and teammate Mychal Green scored on a layup with 21 seconds remaining.
Eyink hit a 3-pointer to cut Ohio's lead to 70-69 with 11 seconds left, but Harbut was fouled after the inbounds pass and hit both shots. The Falcons' John Floyd missed a 3-pointer from the top of the key at the buzzer.
John Reimold (Kennedy Catholic) scored 23 points and Josh Almanson had 14 for Bowling Green (12-7, 6-3).
Jeremy Fears and Sonny Troutman each scored 14 points for the Bobcats.
Ball State 67, Northern Illinois 59
MUNCIE, Ind. -- Dennis Trammell scored 16 of his 24 points in the second half and Terrance Chapman had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead Ball State.
Julien Mills added 16 points, including 5-of-5 free-throw shooting, for the Cardinals (10-6, 5-3 Mid-American Conference).
Cory Sims led Northern Illinois (7-11, 3-7) with 13 points.
Ball State scored 15 points off 18 Northern Illinois turnovers, while the Huskies managed four points off the Cardinals' four turnovers.
Toledo 73, Kent St. 70
TOLEDO -- Keith Triplett and Kashif Payne hit two free throws apiece in the final 47 seconds to help Toledo overcome an 11-point first-half deficit.
Florentino Valencia scored 14 points, Triplett had 12 and Payne 10 for the Rockets (8-9, 4-4 Mid-American Conference).
Kent State (13-7, 5-4), which led 40-34 at the half, was led by Armon Gates' 18 points. Kevin Warzynski added 16 and Jason Edwin had 14.
Buffalo 80, E. Michigan 68
YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Jason Bird scored a season-high 20 points and Turner Battle added 14 Saturday to help Buffalo to a come-from-behind win.
Bird got 12 of his points on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range for the Bulls (13-5, 6-4 Mid-American Conference).
John Bowler scored 19 and Markus Austin added 17 for the Eagles (9-9, 3-6 MAC), who have lost five straight games and six of their last seven.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Joe Reitz scored a game-high 17 points as the Broncos (14-5, 7-2 Mid-American) scored their most lopsided victory since a 48-point win over Lake Superior State in 1979.
Central (7-11, 2-8) played without starting guard Kevin Nelson, the team's leading scorer, and guard/forward Sefton Barrett, who were suspended indefinitely before the game for breaking unspecified team rules.
