Murray scores 19 for Girard



GIRARD -- Cachet Murray scored 19 points as Girard High defeated Liberty, 55-25, in a Trumbull Athletic Conference girls basketball game Monday night.
Lauren Adams added 11 points for the Indians (15-0, 9-0 TAC), who led 27-16 at halftime.
Ashley White led Liberty (6-9, 2-7) with nine points.
Champion 51, Hubbard 29
HUBBARD -- Jessica Wood scored 22 points to lead Champion.
Wood scored 10 points in the first quarter, as the Golden Flashes (10-4, 7-2 TAC) took a 14-12 lead. She scored seven points in the third quarter, which saw Champion outscore the Eagles 15-2 for a 36-18 advantage.
Danielle DeJulio scored nine points to pace Hubbard (3-11, 2-7).
Lakeview 53, Newton Falls 34
NEWTON FALLS -- Lakeview rallied from a 20-16 halftime deficit to post a win in the TAC.
Lindsay Whetzel scored 16 points for the Bulldogs (10-5, 6-3 TAC), who outscored Newton Falls 37-14 after the intermission.
Chelsea Butler added 12 points for Lakeview. Jen Baker scored 11.
Lindsay Calland scored 13 points for Newton Falls (1-13, 1-8).
Brookfield 51, LaBrae 27

SOUTHINGTON -- Tara Ford scored 18 points and Melanie Roscoe added 15 for Mathews in a NAC game.
The Mustangs (13-2, 7-2) led 17-10 at halftime.
Southington (5-7, 3-5) was led by Dottie Plack with 12 points.
Sharon 56, Sharpsville 39
SHARPSVILLE, Pa. -- Brittany Catlos scored 17 points to lead Sharon in a District 10 game.
Aryn Christman added 15 points for the Tigers (14-3, 11-0), who led 30-13 at halftime.
Sharpsville was led by Kasey Gardner, who scored 16 points, and Erica Gaines, who added 11.
