PHILADELPHIA -- Undefeated Kansas never stood a chance once Allen Ray, Curtis Sumpter and the rest of the spirited Villanova Wildcats got rolling.
Sumpter sank five 3-pointers and scored 25 points, Ray made four 3s and scored 27 and Villanova led by as many as 32 points in a stunning 83-62 victory over No. 2 Kansas on Saturday.
The Wildcats (10-4) lost their last two games on free throws in the final seconds, but this one was never really close. After holding a modest seven-point lead at halftime, the Wildcats went on a 15-2 run to open the second half, gave up three points, then reeled off 16 straight points.
Wayne Simien led Kansas (14-1) with 15 points and J.R. Giddens and Sasha Kaun each had 11.
No. 3 Wake Forest 74, No. 20 Cincinnati 70
CINCINNATI -- Eric Williams scored a career-high 29 points, having his way with Cincinnati's shorter front line.
The Bearcats (15-3) lost at home to a ranked team for the second time in eight days.
Chris Paul added 21 points for Wake Forest (16-2) , which improved to 5-1 against ranked teams this season.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- J.J. Redick scored a season-high 31 points for Duke.
The Blue Devils (15-0, 5-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) were never in trouble, jumping to an 18-8 lead and steadily building it to as many as 33 late in the game.
Isiah Swann came off the bench to lead Florida State (10-9, 2-4) with 13 points and Von Wafer added 10, eight in the second half.

Tim Bush led the Bears (9-6, 1-3) with 19 points and Tommy Swanson added 15.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Hakim Warrick had 22 points and 13 rebounds, Gerry McNamara scored 18 points and Billy Edelin added a season-high 12 to lead Syracuse.
It was the 12th straight win for Syracuse (19-1, 6-0 Big East), which equaled the best start in school history. In 1999, Syracuse won its first 19 before losing to Seton Hall 69-67 at home and also started 19-1 in 1979-80.

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Patrick Sparks went 5-of-7 from 3-point range and scored 15 points to lead the Wildcats.
Kelenna Azubuike added 16 points for Kentucky (14-2, 5-0 Southeastern Conference), which made a season-high 11 3-pointers in 20 attempts to win for the 14th time in its last 15 meetings with LSU (9-6, 2-2).

ATLANTA -- Georgia Tech's Isma'il Muhammad missed two free throws with 5.5 seconds left and Virginia Tech handed the Yellow Jackets their third consecutive loss.
Carlos Dixon led Virginia Tech (10-6 overall, 3-2 ACC) with 21 points, and Zabian Dowdell added 18.
Will Bynum matched his career high with 28 points for Georgia Tech (11-5, 2-3), which lost for the first time at home this season.

Larry O'Bannon scored 15 points for Louisville and Ellis Myles had 12 points and five rebounds after breaking his left thumb on Wednesday.

Jeff Hagen, the second-leading scorer and emotional leader for the Gophers (13-5, 3-2), made a surprising appearance on his sprained left knee and finished with 16 points.

OXFORD, Miss. -- Kennedy Winston scored 26 points and Jermareo Davidson had a game-high 13 rebounds for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama (15-3, 4-1 Southeastern Conference) snapped a seven-game road losing streak at Mississippi (11-8, 2-4), last winning 59-46 in the 1996-97 season.
