JUNIOR GROUP OF GOODWILL Antique and collectible auction at Stambaugh



Three automobiles are among the items on the auction block.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Junior Group of Goodwill will stage its 13th annual Antique and Collectible Auction on Feb. 5 at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave.
An auction preview will begin at 10 a.m., with the auction starting at 11. A collectible jewelry sale will open at 10. Admission is $2.
The auction will include many collectibles and antiques, including furniture, artwork, musical instruments, glassware, toys, vases, Roseville pottery, jewelry and books. Also, three automobiles to be auctioned will be a 1985 Renault Alliance convertible, a 1968 Mercedes Benz 230 and a 1979 Cadillac DeVille.
Proceeds will benefit Goodwill's job training and employment services for people with disabilities and other special needs in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties in Ohio and Mercer and Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania.
Patron event
A patron party will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 4 at Stambaugh. Festivities will include a collectible jewelry sale, an auction of new merchant donations, basket and 50-50 raffles, silent and Chinese auctions, and a furniture preview. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $18 each with a $5 tax deduction, and must be purchased in advance by calling the Goodwill office at (330) 759-7921, from Junior Group members or Goodwill Trustees, or at any of the seven Goodwill stores in Liberty, Struthers, Warren, Salem, Calcutta, Hermitage, Pa., and New Castle, Pa. The deadline is Jan. 31.
