GIRARD -- The city board of education is postponing the forum scheduled for 7 tonight to discuss the new junior/senior high school.
The forum has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 26 in the high school auditorium.
Trumbull EMA board
VIENNA -- The Trumbull County Emergency Management Agency's executive board will meet at 4 p.m. today at its office at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport.
The agency's weapons of mass destruction team will meet there at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
Lakeview board meeting
CORTLAND -- The Lakeview Board of Education has set its monthly meeting date for 2005 as the second Monday of each month, 7 p.m., in the high school media center.
The board also will have a special meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 31.
Niles levy committee
NILES -- The city schools levy committee has scheduled three upcoming meetings: 7 p.m. Thursday at Niles McKinley High School; Jan. 27 immediately after the 7 p.m. regular board of education meeting at the high school; and 7 p.m. Feb. 3, also at the high school.
Credit card theft
YOUNGSTOWN -- A 76-year-old Linwood Avenue woman who was hospitalized last month discovered that someone used her MasterCard number during that time and charged $8,830 worth of merchandise at stores in Youngstown, Niles and Boardman, police said.
The woman reported the theft to police Monday, saying the card is still in her possession.
Moving Mecca funds
WARREN -- Mecca Township trustees have gone to court for permission to move $23,860 from one fund to another.
The board filed a petition in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to move the dollars from the township's debt service fund to its road and bridge fund.
The money had been earmarked for a public works project on Morrell-Ray Road that was canceled. Because the money's no longer needed there, it should be returned to where it came from -- the road and bridge fund, trustees said.
Austintown board
AUSTINTOWN -- The time for the township board of education meeting scheduled for today has been changed to 6 p.m.
The executive session to consider the employment of personnel will be at the board office, 225 Idaho Road.
Meet the barn artist
FOWLER -- The Fowler Township Historical Society plans a program with Scott Hagan, the artist who painted the Ohio Bicentennial Barns in 2003. The Hartford Historical Society also will host the presentation.
The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Fowler Community Center, state Route 193. The public is invited.

McDONALD -- The first meeting for parents or guardians of children who will attend kindergarten at Roosevelt Elementary School next year will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m Monday.
