BENEFITS
XYoungstown Columbiana Association of Realtors will hold a family skate night with all the proceeds to benefit the Mahoning Valley Guide Dog Training Center. The public event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Skate Connection, 7080 Tiffany Blvd., Boardman. Admission is $2 per person with skate rental of $2.25 or inline skates for $3.25. CARD AND BINGO PARTIES
XMary, Mother of Hope Parish Center will sponsor a Super Sunday Bingo on Sunday to raise funds for the organ fund. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and bingo starts at 2. Donation will be $15 with an afternoon total of $4,000. Door prizes and refreshments will be available.
XSt. Stanislaus Infant of Prague Guild will host a card and bingo party at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the church auditorium, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown. Cost is $3.
CHINESE AUCTIONS
XThe Happy Hearts Jr. Tamburitzans will sponsor The Happy Hearts 11th Annual Chinese Auction at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. George Lodge 66, Croatian Home, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Donation will be $3 and food will be available.
XSt. John Church, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell, is having its annual Chinese auction on Sunday at the church hall. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the drawing begins at 3. Cost of $5 includes 20 tickets, a cupcake and drink. There will also be other raffles. Refreshments will be sold.
FESTIVALS
XArchangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church is having its annual Greek Festival from 3 to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Archangel Michael Community Center, 401 12th St., Campbell. There will be Greek music nightly and dance performances, nightly raffles, arts and crafts, a Chinese auction and a grand raffle for $1,000. Admission is free and there will be a large selection of food and pastries.
NIGHTS AT THE RACES
XSt. Jude Activity Center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana, will hold a night at the races, movie-style, on Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m. and post time is 7. Admission and refreshments are free. The event is co-sponsored by Parish Life Ministry and the Knights of Columbus. Participants must be 18 and over. Proceeds are earmarked for charity and church projects.
RUMMAGE SALES
XCoitsville Presbyterian Church, 91 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, Youngstown, will hold a rummage sale and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. A light lunch with homemade soup will be available. Soup may be purchased by the quart to take home.
SPECIAL EVENTS
XNeil Kennedy Recovery Clinic will sponsor the Second Annual Fellowship Brunch from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. April 3 at the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Avenue, Boardman.
