POPULAR DEMAND Back in a big way

Some looks for spring that you'll recognize from last year:
Tier drops. Pretty layering and understated ruffles mark the feminine silhouette. This floral pleat skirt and striped boat-neck accented with a bow belt comes from Banana Republic.
Volume control. Some designers are playing with the volume and shape of skirts and dresses. This printed taffeta dress was one of the interesting pieces in the spring 2005 collection from Marc Jacobs.
Bud lite. Floral prints, from dainty flowers to leafy vines to lush cabbage roses, are good for spring. This floral dress and cotton cardigan from Banana Republic certainly looks the season.
Pretty in pink. One of last year's more popular colors, pink continues its rosy hold on the fashion palette. This pair of cotton pants paired with a silk chiffon wrap top from Tocca shows why it pays to think pink.
