The Patriots are surging as the calendar year ends. The Patriots, after suffering many key injuries, are back on track to defend Super Bowl title. After a 4-4 start, the Patriots finally won consecutive games in the middle of November. The Patriots have won five of the last six games to lock up the AFC East for the fourth time in five seasons. New York can't wait to turn the page on this year. The Jets, en route to their worst season under Herman Edwards, have had five quarterbacks take a snap.
