"A Christmas Story" (8 p.m., TCM): Adults and children alike get a kick out of "A Christmas Story." The 1983 film is the tale of a 1940s-era Indiana schoolboy who obsessively dreams of getting a Red Ryder air rifle for Christmas. Peter Billingsley, Melinda Dillon, Darren McGavin star.
"Secrets of the Black Box" (8 p.m., History Channel): Just in time for the feel-good days of Christmas, here's a series about what the black box reveals in airline accidents.
"Seinfeld" (9 p.m., TBS): A four-episode marathon includes a noncommercial Christmas plan, which, oddly, is supported with commercials.
