XAUSTINTOWN -- Family members and close friends honored Mr. and Mrs. John Bugno, 4097 Stark Drive, during a dinner party held Nov. 13 in observance of their 60th wedding anniversary.
The event was held at the Florentine Room of Lucianno's Restaurant.
Participating in the celebration were members of their family, Ruth and Jack Less of Warren; John and Vicki Bugno, Larry and Louise Bugno and Dan and Chris Bugno, all of Austintown; Connie and Dayne Sammartino of North Lima; and Polly Hayes of Leetonia. The couple also have 10 grandchildren.
The former Ann Vasko and Mr. Bugno were married Nov. 17, 1945, at St. Mary Greek Catholic Church in Youngstown. They are members of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Mr. Bugno served in World War II as a private first class, Co. A 39th Combat Engineers. He retired in 1985 from Youngstown Sheet and Tube/LTV Steel in Youngstown, where he was a crane operator. His wife is a homemaker.
