FOOD SALES AND DINNERS



FRIDAY
XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, string beans, applesauce, bread, and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
XOur Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles will sell regular, potato and spinach pizza from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school annex, 381 Robbins Ave. Advance orders are being accepted at (330) 652-2811 until 10 a.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome. No pickups before 11 a.m.
XSt. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m. Friday.
SUNDAY
XA breakfast brunch at St. James the Apostle Church, U.S. Route 422 West, New Bedford, Pa., will be served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church social hall by the men's group. Pancakes, sausage, home fries, ham, eggs, toast, juice and coffee will be served. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and under. XSt. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell, is holding its annual stuffed cabbage dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 11 at the church all. Adult dinners are $8 in advance ($9 at the door) and children's dinners are $4 for those under 12. For tickets call (330) 755-0036. Carryouts will be available; bring your own container. A basket raffle will also be held.
