Bristolville man killed in car accident

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP -- Michael J. Lanahan, 35, of 5152 state Route 45, Bristolville, was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-car accident on state Route 45.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Lanahan's 1996 Ford Ranger was northbound on Route 45 north of Bristol-Champion Townline Road when the vehicle went off the right side of the road, back onto the road and off the right side again at 8:34 Monday evening. The vehicle flipped, striking a pole and ejecting Lanahan, the patrol reported.
