CANFIELD
Aug. 25
Property theft: Police charged a 21-year-old Lawton, Okla., woman with taking six packs of cigarettes from Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.
Drug possession/drug paraphernalia: Police charged a 37-year-old Newcomerstown man with possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse, obtaining and possessing drugs after an arrest on Main Street. A pack of rolling papers and two rolled suspected marijuana cigarettes were found in his possession.
Aug. 27
Drug abuse: Police charged a 32-year-old Akron man with drug abuse after they found in his possession a plastic bag containing 6 grams of suspected marijuana and remnants of a suspected marijuana cigarette.
Theft: The office manager for Dr. Jon Arnott, 450 E. Main St., reported that $60 in bills had been stolen from the office's petty cash account.
Unauthorized use/drug possession: Police charged a 25-year-old Canfield woman with drug abuse and obtaining and possessing drugs after they found two rocks of suspected crack cocaine and Flexeril pills on her at Villager Apartments, 440 Fairground Blvd. Police also charged her with theft by deception.
Carrying a concealed weapon/drug paraphernalia: Police charged a 33-year-old Salem man with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia on Lisbon Street south of state Route 165. Police found pieces of suspected marijuana scattered in his car and a marijuana bowl on the front seat. They also found a silver pipe with suspected marijuana in it and a double-edged knife in a glove box.

Aug. 22
Theft: Tools were reported taken from the Rebel Truck Stop, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Breaking and entering: A 1999 green Dodge dump truck was broken into at Green Haven Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum, 3495 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damaging: Damage was reported in the parking lot in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.
Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown on a vehicle in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.
Vehicle theft: A 2000 International Ryder 18-foot box truck was stolen from Falcon Transportation, 650 N. Meridian Road.
Breaking and entering: A storage unit was entered and a bed, computer and stereo were taken at Fisher-Bord, 3650 Connecticut Ave.
Theft: A total of $80 was stolen from Dunkin' Donuts, 4812 Mahoning Ave.
Aug. 23
Theft: Police arrested a 23-year-old man accused of not paying for gasoline and driving away from the Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Money and credit cards were stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway in the 5000 block of West Rockwell Road.
Recovered property: Credit cards were found at Innwood Street and Woodridge Drive.
Attempted auto theft: A man is a suspect in an attempted auto theft in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.
Recovered property: A 1990 Oldsmobile 98 was found in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Auto theft: A 1988 Oldsmobile Ciera was stolen from the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Three female juveniles were arrested in a theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A Nikon 35mm camera and a wallet were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 60 block of Country Green Drive.
Theft: Money was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.
Auto theft: A 1990 Pontiac was stolen from the Compass West apartments.
Theft: A purse containing credit cards and cash was stolen from a locked vehicle parked in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.
Drug abuse: Police arrested an Austintown man for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Oakcrest Drive and Signature Place.
Attempted burglary: A lock tumbler was pulled in the 100 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
Theft: A wallet was taken from a vehicle parked in the 6000 block of Winter Park Avenue.

Arrest: Police arrested three men on an auto theft charge in the 2000 block of Woodgate Street.
Arrest: Police arrested three men in a theft from an auto at a different address in the 2000 block of Woodgate Street.
Criminal damaging: A convertible roof was cut in a theft from an auto in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.
Theft: A stereo and speaker boxes were taken from a vehicle at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A two-wheel scooter was taken from the 6000 block of Winteridge.
Theft: A First Place Bank checkbook was stolen from the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.
Theft: A house key was taken from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Yolanda Place.
