Condition still critical



YOUNGSTOWN -- A Cleveland man remained in critical condition Sunday evening in St. Elizabeth Health Center after being shot Saturday afternoon on the city's South Side.
Robert Peeples, 42, suffered two gunshot wounds to the pelvis and groin areas around 1:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
According to a report, police arrived to find Peeples lying on a sidewalk bleeding from the groin. About 50 people were gathered near the victim, but no one was able to provide information about the shooter, the report says. Peeples also was unable to give police information about his attacker, the report shows.
Police found 12 9mm casings in the front and rear of an apartment in the 800 block of Martin Luther King. Officials from the crime lab were at the scene collecting the casings and other possible evidence.
Police had no suspects as of Sunday evening.
